About Kit Crew Rescue

Kit Crew Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in South Florida, founded in June 2022. We are solely donation-based and dedicated to rescuing cats of all ages and temperaments, ensuring they find their perfect forever homes.

In addition to adoption, we provide rehabilitation for sick or injured cats, giving them a second chance at a happy life. Our mission extends to educating the public on the importance of Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR) policies for feral community cats, helping to manage and improve the lives of outdoor cat populations.

Meet Acorn, a resilient and independent tabby with a heart of gold! Rescued just in time before Hurricane Ian hit Florida, Acorn is the last of his family still waiting for a loving home. He may be a little shy at first, but once he gets comfortable, he’ll show you affection on his own terms.

Acorn loves his toys, especially when they’re sprinkled with catnip, and he’s got plenty of playful energy to share. He’d thrive in a quiet, older household with one other confident cat but no dogs. If you're looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion, Acorn might just be the perfect fit!
